Miss Melrose’s interest in burlesque was a slow development which began at a young age. Her love for bare skin was espoused in Sweden. Discovering with age that nudity for most of the world was not acceptable, she soon found lingerie to be the next best alternative. Her love for lingerie became an infatuation as she could
not only feel beautiful in clothing but underneath as well. Enchanted by Disney films and glamorous silver screen sirens from the 20th century she eventually came across burlesque which in her eyes incorporated glamour, lingerie, skin and the femininity she saw in her favorite Disney characters. Miss Melrose creates routines incorporating grace, sensuality and elegance expressed through her movements, music and costumes.
